Loose nuts cycles is a full-service shop and are able to fix or order any part for any kind of bike, we mainly specialize in commuter, urban, and transportation bikes however are ready to help you with your mountain or road bike as well. Additionally, we have a constantly changing selection of vintage parts, something you won’t find at most other places. READ the last sentence, and it’s true! That was my big issue with going to other shops “The TUDE” are so bad that it’s usually like pulling teeth to get help. Glad I found Loose Nuts Cycles. *plug* ” )

My daughter and I found Loose Nuts today only because we turned left instead of right toward the park. I will agree, LN provided excellent service (air is my tires) without the ‘tude. Love the selection of bikes and the vibe of the shop. I’m looking into getting a Fixie, so I will definitely keep LN in mind.

This place is ace. Enough said. Now get on your bike and go!

Found this shop almost a year ago now, while walking by to grab a bite to eat next door. The thing that sold me? The guys themselves. When they say “without the snobbery”, they mean it. They didn’t know me from Adam, and were as cool, laid back, and informative as possible. Even invited me to hang around the shop for a bit while they worked on bikes. Great guys. Remind me of the old bike and skate shops from my youth. Not just a counter with parts, but a cool place you’d want to hang around and “shoot the shit” for a while. I would, and have, recommend them to anyone.

I bring my Orbea mountain bike to Loose Nuts all the time, despite the fact I could take it to the shop where I bought it for free tune-ups. It’s not just because I live down the street (though I do) from Loose Nuts. Or because they do great work (they do!). Mostly, it’s because these guys are friendly, know what they’re doing and have zero attitude. If you’ve got a question – or several – they’ll take the time to answer. I came in and spoke to Chris about mountain bikes prior to purchasing my Orbea. Even though Loose Nuts doesn’t sell mountain bikes, Chris took about 20 minutes going through the pros and cons of my top choices, even taking me to his computer to compare specs on a couple different brands. Bottom line: a great shop with a great bunch of people that make you feel at home the minute you walk in the door. Keep up the good work, Loose Nuts!
