Hello, we wanted everyone to know that we will be closed August 31st, September 1st, and September 2nd in observation of Labor day. All of the shop guys will be out riding to Alabama and setting up camp. If you have any interest in joining us check out the Facebook page at Comet Camp Ride 2013.
We will be back open for regular hours on Tuesday, September 3rd!
We just got done building this beauty up. The frameset is a 56cm Salsa Warbird (the aluminum version) that has a custom camo finish. The parts spec is mostly Ultegra with a little bit of Dura-Ace and CX70 mixed in there. The wheels are full DT Swiss and Thomson bits abound. Overall the build came together quite nicely and hopefully it'll be ridden hard!

Now that we have apparently hit fall (I know it'll warm back up but the rain and 65 degree weather has me dreaming) it's time to unload some 2013 bikes and get ready for a new line of 2014 rides. We are offering 10 percent off all 2013 complete bikes and frames in the store. This will get you on that bike you've been lusting after for less than you would normally need to pay! Also, remember that with all new bike sales we offer free tune-ups for as long as you own the bike-- we want your sick new bike to ride as well on mile 1000 as it did on mile one. Swing by and check out what we've got to offer!
The Bicycling Club of Milledgeville is going to be hosting what, as far as I know (I'm no expert though), the first gravel-centric ride in Georgia. The date has been set for 17 August and, with options for everyone's abilities, should be a blast. There is more info on the ride HERE. Head on south and shred some dirt roads-- we'll see ya there!
Come out and ride with us this Labor Day weekend. We will be riding 200 miles in three days and doing some camping! The ride is completely self-supported so make sure to pack enough food, camping gear, and tools to keep yourself rolling. There will be a meet up at the beginning of the Silver Comet Trail at 8:00am and roll out will be 9:00am sharp. If you are late don't fret-- just catch up! For more information check the Comet Camp Ride 2013 event on Facebook. If you've got any questions head to the event page on Facebook and we'll get you your answers.
Yeah, so it is caught us by surprise but we hit our three year anniversary a few days ago. We just want to say thanks to all of the great customers that we've had over the years and really appreciate all of the support that the neighborhood and the greater Atlanta cycling community. The regular Friday night beer drinking session will be on as usual so come on by and grab a beer with us! Going to leave ya with a few pictures that we dug up from our opening and and a few from where we stand now--
Hey y'all Chris got married yesterday and so to celebrate the shop will be closed until Wednesday May 8th to celebrate. Thanks for all the congratulations we have gotten and sorry for any inconveniences.
We just built this Big Dummy up for a long-time customer. It was built up with the express purpose of hauling kids around safely and comfortably-- as well as replacing the family minivan. The build started with a complete Big Dummy from Surly then we upgraded the P-racks from Xtracycle with their heavy duty versions to better handle the load of two kids and their bikes. Over all the build finished nicely with a Yepp PeaPod III kids seat-- it is easily the most elegant design of a child's seat I've seen in a while.
As a whole, bike builds like this are what get us really excited. The movement towards families commuting by bike is still new in Atlanta, but when we build a bike like this we realize that there is a real shift happening in our city now! It is awesome!
